Since the establishment of the Iranian Association of Chemical Engineers in 1990, 12 annual national and 6 international congresses of chemical engineering have been the major forum for Iranian and international chemical engineers and scientists to present and exchange their research papers. The number of papers presented at these congresses has been steadily increasing each year. Now for the first time, The 1^st International Regional Chemical & Petroleum Engineering Conference will be held simultaneously with The 13^th National Iranian Chemical Engineering Congress and this academic event will be the major forum for Iranian and regional chemical and petroleum engineers and scientists. This event covers vast areas of chemical and petroleum engineering science and practice including specialized workshops and industrial researches.
